🔥 OPINION | Pahalgam to Op Sindoor: When Two Frauds Fight Over Fake Patriotism

The nation is being prepared for a 16-hour televised drama in Lok Sabha and a sequel in Rajya Sabha, titled “Debate on Op Sindoor”. But don’t be fooled. This isn’t a debate — it’s a co-produced distraction where BJP and Congress will pretend to fight for national security, while both hide their own crimes and cowardice.
These two parties may hurl microphones at each other, but the truth is:
👉 They’ve always been united in lying to the people.
👉 They’ve always used the Army as a shield and the media as a weapon.
👉 And they’ve both mastered the art of screwing up in silence and shouting in Parliament.
🔁 Recycled Script, Different Actors
BJP, in power today, is cut-pasting Congress’s old manual:
- A major terror attack (Pahalgam) happens.
- Intelligence fails miserably — nobody resigns.
- The operation starts (Op Sindoor) and collapses without answers.
- Army is left to defend the mess politicians created.
Same happened after 26/11 under UPA.
Same cover-ups. Same PR tactics. Same arrogance.
The only difference is the hashtag.
📉 Why No Inquiry Like Kargil? Afraid of the Truth?
In 1999, within 72 hours of Kargil ending, Vajpayee set up the Kargil Review Committee.
Now in 2025, weeks after Operation Sindoor ended in chaos, BJP can’t even face questions?
Why? Because both BJP and Congress know one thing very well:
🔇 Truth in defence matters = Political suicide.
So they hide behind “classified documents”, redacted files, and noisy anchors.
🪖 Respect the Army? Don’t Use It Like A Photo Frame
BJP keeps screaming “Respect the Forces” — while pushing Army officers to do press conferences and clean up political dirt. The CDS, Defence Attaché, and Lt Gen are revealing truths in foreign capitals — not because they want to, but because India’s political leadership is spineless.
And Congress? The party which let Pakistani terrorists walk into Mumbai hotels and fired no one is now pretending to demand answers?
👎 Both parties are nothing but national security hijackers — each using our Army’s valour to hide their own failures.
🎪 Media: From Fourth Pillar to Party Cell
Let’s be real: Most Indian news channels during Op Sindoor were not doing journalism.
They were reading BJP’s WhatsApp forwards on air, dramatising fake victories while the real situation was spiralling.
But Congress has no moral ground either. UPA was the original manipulator of embedded journalism, burying 26/11 backstories, and lobbying foreign media to dilute Indian concerns.
📺 Our national security isn’t a breaking news story.
But BJP and Congress have made it one — for TRPs, not truth.
🌍 Foreign Affairs = Foreign Humiliation
Donald Trump has claimed 26 times that he blackmailed India into stopping Op Sindoor.
He hosted Pakistan’s Army Chief for lunch.
The US Defence Secretary praises Pakistan as a “model partner”.
Where is India’s “muscular diplomacy” now?
- BJP can’t stop America from spitting on India’s face.
- Congress only claps from the gallery, forgetting it once begged America for NSG entry.
🇮🇳 This is what bipartisan foreign policy failure looks like.
❗Final Word: Not a Debate. A National Farce.
This so-called parliamentary debate is a joke.
A loud, expensive, taxpayer-funded spectacle of blame without accountability.
Both BJP and Congress are co-accused in the crime of lying to the nation.
They’ve taken turns over decades to:
- Bury the truth
- Exploit the Army
- Use patriotism as a stage light
- And reduce India’s strategic depth to shallow TV slogans
⚖️ India doesn’t need another debate. It needs a trial.
Not in Parliament. But in the people’s court.
For:
- The soldiers sacrificed
- The civilians terrorised
- And the truth vaporised
